Update: I first made these cookies for the Season Two Finale of Star Wars Rebels with chocolate chips and some various orange sprinkles I had on hand. Now we are getting ready to start
Season Four of Star Wars Rebels and I have
improved this recipe, posted it, and I'm giving you some new photos to boot. I'm using
Wilton's orange colored candy melts "Choppered" up along with
macadamia nuts. They came out the right color and so delicious. If you are in a rush and don't have time to mix up the recipe, just use your favorite cookie dough with the add-ins.
One thing to remember about this recipe is that if you are eating
gluten-free...just use your favorite gluten-free cookie mix and add in the "choppered" orange Wilton candy melts and macadamia nuts to make this treat.
