Star Wars Ewok Hut Dessert Recipe With Butterscotch Chips and Chow Mein Noodles. |
Ewoks collect Stormtrooper heads. ;) |
You can make it cute or eerie, depending on the occasion. If I am using this for a child's Star Wars Birthday Party, we place Lego Ewoks around it.
If it is for a Star Wars Halloween Party, then one can place Stormtrooper heads around the village with the Ewoks. ;)
At Christmas time, you can build this village with holly leaves and red berries for decor and even hang little wreaths over the doors to their huts. :)
This is the delicious Ewok Hut Dessert and you have flavor options, such as butterscotch, cinnamon, or peanut butter. If you want to share this recipe or the photos, all I ask is that you please give me credit and link back to this page. Thank you! :)

Ewok Hut Dessert Recipe
Ingredients:
- 12 oz bag of butterscotch, cinnamon, or peanut butter chips.
- 2 Tablespoons of Vegetable Shortening
- Can or Bag of Chow Mein Noodles
- Sugar Cones (optional)
- Green Royal Icing Leaves (optional)
Directions:
- Cut the sugar cones in half as shown in photo, if you desire to use them. It is extra work. I made a few like this and the rest without the cone as a base, as you can see in the photos.
- Melt the flavored chips and shortening in the top of a double boiler over hot water.
- Taking about 1 cup of chow mein noodles in a separate bowl, drizzle some of the melted mixture on top and stir them together. Quickly form them into a hut shape either over the sugar cone piece or not.
- Repeat until all huts are built.
- Put in the freezer for a few moments until set.
- Remove and place on serving plate. Embellish scene with Lego Ewok figures, chocolate cereal, chocolate marshmallows, edible green leaves, etc.
